On Wednesday 24 of March ZubiGune organized an online MTC-Conference to present and discuss the project’s results. Other organizations had been invited to present their projects and activities in the care sector with special focus on migrant issues.
The foundation for Healthy Ageing of the regional government, Adinberri, presented their new strategy 2021 for Healthy Ageing, that includes the definition of new training courses and promises to improve the acsess to training offers for (unqualified) care workers.
Other organizations (among them Matia Foundation, Grupo SSI, the cooperative Maitelan) presented projects linked to trainings and recognition, including strategies for dignifying the care sector and fighting discrimination and social exclusion.
In smaller groups we discussed 3 topics: training, social exclusion and decent care.
